Merdeka Eve BBQ Party
Who was there? What happened? And most importantly, where? hahaha
It's hell of a night.
The original plan was to BBQ at my place here in Suriamas. After a while then I realized that the BBQ pit can only be used until 10pm!! WTF! And we wanted to start at 9pm. LOL
So I tried to persuade the guards before the rest came if we could use the pit for a couple of hours after 10. They said no. I tried to lure them with a bribe, they said no.
I think they didn't understand what I said. haha!
So Kent came the earliest, followed by Vanessa, who thought that Suriamas is in Ridzuan and she was pretty confident. LOL
Kent tried to help me with the BBQ problem, and managed to borrow his cousin's portable electric grill and I thought the problem was solved.
Not quite.
He went all the way back to his cousin's house to pick it up, and me and the rest were already in the gazebo near the pool to set up some stuff.
Only to find out that they turned off the electric not 5 minutes we were there! WTF
William and I tried to talk with the other guards to turn it on for a couple of hours and the fucked up security was so stupid they put us all in a lot of trouble.
Firstly, the guard in charge asked to speak to him in English. Oh I thought he must've been a well spoken english guard. Yeah right. The whole time he was talking I was like, "Was that English?". Uugh pissed me off
Then, he told us he would turn on the light and he took my resident's card as a collateral. And he needs at least 3 cards to do the honors. He asked Neeshan and Hunain to go all the way up and get their residents card and bring it back down.
After that, they gave him the card and he said no. He won't be needing it anymore. STUPID fuck.
And then, they said they won't turn on the light because the manager said no! HELL STUPID FUCK
I hate guards with minimal wage. Not helpful at all.
So the BBQ team get to talking and decided to go to Keith's house originally, but Kent offered his place and since it's nearer, we just get on with it. haha!
Thought the problem's over?
We arrived at Kent's house and settled everything down. We plugged in the BBQ set, the electric went off several times!! Short circuit I guess.
After a while it went alright, but the BBQ set died. I mean literally.
The plugs were all still intact and turned on, but the BBQ was damaged I think. So stucked again. We only managed to grill off 5 sausages and 1 half cooked chicken which, Suzuki ate! And he liked it. hahahaha
After a lot of consideration, we decided to fry everything because it's better than no food at all. While we were frying, it was already past merdeka hour. LOL wtf
Then again, I never really celebrated Malaysia's independence day before.
Not appropriately at least. LOL
We had a good talk session after that. But it was all Suzuki's moments. hahahahah

Laksa Shack
Went to Laksa Shack in Sunway for dinner.
Not quite.
We have to book the place and gave a deposit of RM50 and the worst part?
We have to come back in an hour because it was packed shit! DIE
So went to Jusco to eat one of those mini pies and thank god it was good! Finally managed to get some good meat pies around.
Reminded me of the human meat pie in the barber demon movie thing (forgot the full name!) haha
The mini pies cost me about RM10 for 6 pies, too much for one person as it was already big enough each! I would suggest getting the beef pie instead of the chicken though because it's better tasting. haha!
After that went to Laksa Shack and I was full!!! I didn't order any of the laksas, so just ordered the Yellow Rice with beef (again!) and it was worth it too! Cost about 6 bucks but huge in portion!

He drove uphill, and that's where it got scarier. Hunain said he saw something and I was like, "where?" haha!
he drove and drove and kept saying creepy lol.
Until we reached a dead end! FCUK
It was a hill and no road led further. So guess what he did?
HE DROVE STRAIGHT AWAY TO THE DEAD END!!!!!!!!!
hahahahaha turns out, it was actually a very very steep hill!!!! It was sharp, deadly sharp! We head down really fast! And along the hill were houses. It was a housing area. A deserted one that is.
After we turned away from the hill, we saw more house. BIG big ones!

So I went down, and he was waiting for me at the car, like a gangster. And Neeshan hasn't went down yet. SO we waited for her.
Hunain was like, "look at her inside the lift. Grooming herself all over". hahaha Actually we can see her from the CCTV that was put at the lobby. hahaha I was laughing hard because Hunain was like a commentator.
Then we went to pick Michelle at Sri Petaling and this is the worst part!
Without the GPS, we were lost like 5 times!!! From the puchong-sunway tol, we just drive straight UNTIL we reached IOI Mall. hahahahahahahahahaaha
And we did that twice. We went through tol almost 4 times just to make a U-turn. WTF!!! After that we decided to go back and get the GPS. hahaha
Oh Michelle's housing area was, rich. LOL
Hunain and I kept saying "WOW" at a few houses there. And he wanted to buy one LOL.
Anyway went to SS15 to play pool (yes, from Sunway, then Sri Petaling, then head back to SS15).
My first time playing pool correctly! hahah Before this I played in games and never lose. LOL

Anyway, wanted to eat and shisha after that (It wa around 1.30am) and couldn't find any near SS15. So went to Nathan's at OUG only to find out shisha stall was closed!!!!

So we ate and hang out instead. I had the best roti ever! Why? I ordered Roti Telur CHEESE!!!!!! GOOD I TELL YOU, GOOD!!!!
As I cut through the Roti, Cheese were oozing out of it! YUM!!!!

I almost cried to the part where Carl (the old guy) opened the 'My Adventure Book' and read Ellie's last message,

We'll have chickens, sausages, snacks, booze (for non-muslims only!) and many foods on sticks. LOL

There will be a small amount payment though. You know, for the foods and booze(to those who wanted booze only). LOL

Melaka Trip Photoshoot-SNAP
I was supposed to blog about plans during Merdeka Eve this sunday.
But to hell with that. Melaka first! hahaha
So SNAP next photoshoot will be in Melaka solely because of the old buildings.
I was trying to incorporate the structures of the old buildings with the models wearing modern, flowy dress.
I just can't wait to see how it turned out! I'm so pumped up.
This probably gonna be the first professional fashion shot from SNAP. Although we're still looking to get reflectors. Since it's gonna be an outdoor photoshoot, natural lightings would do. haha (cheapskates)
Anyway, I'll be sponsoring the accommodation but to not make it too crowded, I'll only be bringing 8 people.
This trip will be held next Friday on the 4th september, and will be an overnight trip. Details will sent out once I get all the particulars.
Oh did I mention we also need models? Feel free to email me your pictures (professional or not) if you'd like to spice up your portfolio for free!

SS2 Murni restaurant near Kent's house last night.
Suzuki and Michelle picked me up just to go eat that restaurant. Turns out, we had a pretty good time.
The food was okay, but I think Kent's mango drink was superb. My fried noodle was expensive though, but huge in portion. haha.
After that Kent gave a tour of SS2, but the car was driven by Suzuki since it's an automatic transmission car. Kent's by the way.
The tour was, brief. haha! Not too mention Suzuki's bad driving skill. Ugh
We almost left a certain photographer when he tried to answer his call. And Nick recorded something pretty scary about our conversation. hahah

So I just watched this news on Kartika, a Malaysian (part-time) model who will be caned for drinking alcohol.
I feel like I have to say something so here it goes.
The case of Kartika is obviously very wrong and she should be caned. But, why does the media and government authority wanted to publicize her story just because she's a model?
She's not even famous until now! haha.
The media reported there are several court cases involving Kartika before this and if you Google, you'll see what I mean.
To those who didn't know, Kartika was arrested in a hotel in Kelantan (I think) for drinking three glasses of beer. She admits to that allegations and wished that her punishments be carried out publicly.
I think she meant the caning should be done publicly? I guess. hahaha
Anyway the media reporters said and I quote, "Let this be a lesson to all Muslim WOMEN to not drink alcohol."
I think that's kind of bias since this case involved a Muslim women. What about the guys?
Oh and Selangor police authorities will be doing raids all over the state to search for Muslims drinking alcohol in public.
I don't have to worry a thing since I've stopped. haha (okay not funny)

Anyway just watched Miss Universe 2009 on tv. Well I guess everyone knows that Venezuela won. Yeah that's a surprise.
Miss Malaysia wasn't so pretty compared to last year, but I'm excited because she's a Sabahan! LOL
I don't get why would they let women who are not english literate participate in this pageant. I mean, language is important and we have to admit that English is the world's language.
So by unable to speak in English, doesn't that diminish the title 'Universe' itself? If I were them, I would be embarassed even coming to the competition. haha
But then again, they're hot babes. So don't mind the language as long as their ....

Anyway..
I just wanted to tell what happen when we went to Pavilion last night.
Before heading to KL, we pick up Nick because he's desperate to take pictures and we headed to Pavilion.
His main purpose is to take the huge bull in front of Pavilion but was disappointed when it wasn't there LOL.
So we were there to watch 'I love you, Beth Cooper' as mentioned in my latest movie review.
OMFG Nick was so noisy!!!
He kept texting the whole movie like shit and when he laughed, DIE BITCH DIE!! It was noisy!!!! hahahahahaha
That's it LOL.
Oh and we manage to find the huge bull at the back of Pavilion. But he didn't even take the picture of it. Stupid.

I watched I love You, Beth Cooper after dinner. Detailed review and spoiler ahead!
Oh my god I forgot how much I was like so in love with Hayden Panetierre. After Heroes season 3 was finished, I was like dying for more. Thank god this movie was around. haha
Okay firstly, the geeky guy. Need I say more? He wasn't that ugly, I think it was okay for such a geeky role he played. Haha. But the nose. OMFG. How huge is that thing? It looked like what appears to have made the Titanic sank! Seriously!
And the flashbacks when he was a kid, the hair, the braces. I was like OMG-ing countless of times. haha!
Good thing all of that can be forgiven by Hayden's natural good acting skills. Okay I'm being bias. haha. She had such good looks, I swear I would wanna marry her! She has the most flawless skin in Hollywood! The tan was perfect and even, although she was a bit fat but who damn cares! She's the embodiment of hotness!!!
Okay I think this has turned into celebrity review than a movie review. Back to the movie.
The whole idea was pretty good. I love the speech part at the beginning. It's like something that could happen during the graduation of your school! haha! Very funny and I was OMG-ing loads of times there too. But I hate the fact that it was too long.
The most romantic and cheesy part was when a song by KISS was played and they were 'accidentally' near the bonfire. It was really predictable when their friends had to leave them alone for a while, hoping something would happen. Again tacky.
But the most unexpected part was the cows!! LOL one of the stupid girls suggested to tip the cow over and I was like wtf! hahaha And the cow poop doesn't look real! It was supposed to be dry and not wet and brownish. I should know because back in Sabah, there are certain place that has cow shit just lying there in the middle of the road. hahaha
Anyway, The showring part in the girls locker room was okay, but you know Malaysian cinemas, always wanted to cut the best part where Hayden dropped her towel and showerd her boobies. Damn I missed it. Gonna download the original movie. hahaha
The scene after the threesome (yes there was a threesome) and where Hayden and that geek guy was chatting near the setting of Friday the 13th (I'm serious! It was identical) seems out of place.
The switching of frames between the threesome and Hayden was really annoying. I wished they would've just let one of the conversations ended first and continue with the rest. Huh I was dizzy for a while there.
So the ending was the best part. I like it when the guy said, "See you during the reunion. If we're still single, I'll marry you."
And Hayden replied, "That's a promise."
And her laugh was magical! haha okay I'm like really in love with her right now. LOL
Do you wanna know how good is that movie, with rating aside?
I couldn't stop smiling until the movie was finished.

I went to Thailand just to break my fast!
I've been jet setting around asia lately just to have my dinner. huh
Yesterday was in Bali, today I went to Thailand! With Neeshan and her bf, and my close friend.
Haha of course you would know that this another food review right?
We went to Kepong to get something decent to eat. And it was decent. In fact, it was great that we want more!! haha
The restaurant is called 'Krua Thai' and it's located behind Pappa Rich's lot in front of Jusco Kepong.
It's very noticeable from the side, as there are LOADS of people there! You could've guess this will be another succulent food review like yesterday. haha
We ordered chicken fried rice for the guys, and the girls ordered tom yam fried rice and fried noodle.
The fried rice was pretty good, but plain. It was almost tasteless, but was saved by the amazingly spicy thai sambal with chopped garlic. Spicy as it was, it made me love spicy foods! haha
The rice was generous in portion, with huge chunks of sliced chicken breasts steamed and then fried to make it tender and juicy. Served with the rice is thinly sliced carrot and cabbage and it was fresh! I like the combination of colors which made it really appetizing. (and the fact that when you fast, everything looks good) haha!
But the main attraction was not the fried rice, it was the Tom Yam Seafood. We ordered the big bowl of tom yam which cost us RM30 and it's worth it. With a generous portion of prawns, squids and oyster in the soup, RM30 seems really cheap.
I wanna comment on the soup first. It was surprisingly sweet! I could even see the sugary texture within the soup and I can tell they used a generous amount of brown sugar. The amount of herbs used was geneorus too! Everytime I tried to scoop up the soup in my bowl, the herbs will be there. LOL. I guess I can't complain more since it was soooo delicious!
Okay the seafood was fresh, but KL fresh. haha! Means it's not really that fresh if you compared to the ones in let say, KK! haha. I missed seafood in KK. Cheap some more! LOL
I recomend this place to those who wanted to try authentic Thailand food. The environment was too Chinese though, but the every sip of the soup you take, will take you to Thailand. LOL

I went to Bali just to break fast!
It was a damn good food, I tell ya.
Be prepare as I'm going to give the most succulent food review ever written (here I meant). LOL

Okay actually I went to a Balinese concept restaurant in Puchong called Bumbu Bali.
IT WAS SO FRIGGIN GOOD!!! In fact, it was excellent!
I had the Be Pasih Mixed Rice (Nasi Campur Be Pasih) and it was really huge in portion. When I say huge, I meant good enough for 2-3 people huge!
The mixed rice includes one small savoury rice, which smells wonderful! Even the taste was different than normal rice and the texture was soft and fluffy. I couldn't even remember when was the last time I had such a white, fluffy rice. The rice was topped with fried, crispy onions with a sweet sambal sauce. Not spicy, just right.
The meal also include three grilled pandory fish fillet and the meat was soft and tender. As you cut through the fillets, steam came out and the smell of fresh lemon grass and olive oil can easily be noticed. The special Balinese herb used on the fillets was like a cherry on top of a lady in a bikini (okay?).
Not only the fish, they also include two grilled prawns, and it was not even the small, cheap ones. It was actually tiger prawns! The huge, big big ones! OMG I swear I could still taste the prawns as I'm typing. The secret to savour all the juiciness in a prawn is to suck on its head first before ripping off the shell. But me, I rather eat the prawns with the shell as the taste is still trapped in the sweet-smelling grilled to perfection prawns.
You would that's it, but you're wrong. There's also squid. Or should I say, SQUIDS! There are possibly 7-8 squid in that meal alone (I told ya it was enough for 2-3 persons). The squid was topped with lemon juice and some herb that made it taste so heavenly. You feel like you're in Balinese beach eating fresh, grilled squids.

The vegetables! OMG so fresh you'll feel like your mom just plucked it from outside the garden! It was a mix of long beans and some other unrecognized veggies but whatever it was, it was AWESOME. I still couldn't believe how fresh it was!
Now the side sauces. They gave two very different sauce that compliment each other very well. The first one was a sweet, spicy, and salty sambal with blended dried chili and onions. Mix it with the crushed garlic and onion with green chilis and olive oil, you'll have the perfect sauce ever made in the world (so far). How I wished I could bring that home...Huh...
The drink was okay, but my friend had the classic mojito, without alcohol. It was bubly water mixed with lemongrass and lemon juice, topped with crushed fresh mint leaves and lime. Put it in ice and there you go, a perfect blend, non-alcoholic drink to quench your thirst after a day of fasting. Just what you need!
The price? Less than RM30! Could you just believe it?

that song was played a million of times everyday in Hallmark channel. It was so friggin annoying.

Tips for fasting
Tips to stay full even if you're hungry.
Especially since it's Ramadhan and I'm sure lots of my non-muslim friends are fasting with me too. But they did it to save money and lose weight, which you will. haha!
AVOID:
Fried and fatty foods.
Foods containing too much sugar.
Over-eating especially at suhoor.
Too much tea at suhoor: Tea makes you pass more urine taking with it valuable mineral salts that your body would need during the day.
Smoking cigarettes: If you cannot give up smoking, cut down gradually
starting a few weeks before Ramadhan. Smoking is unhealthy and one should stop completely.
EAT:
Complex carbohydrates at suhoor so that the food lasts longer making you less hungry.
Dates are excellent source of sugar, fibre, carbohydrates, potassium
and magnesium.
Almonds are rich in protein and fibre with less fat.
Bananas are a good source of potassium, magnesium and carbohydrates.
DRINK:
As much water or fruit juices as possible between iftar(break fast) and bedtime so that your body may adjust fluid levels in time.

New features
OMG I'm so proud of myself. haha! Been learning how to edit HTML myself. It's like learning how to walk.
The first step was hard, but once you start walking it became easier. As if you've been doing it your whole life.
HTML is really very easy. So what did I do since I learned editing HTML?
I managed to change the width of my blog and make it wider for optimum viewing.
I added the Read More feature which is also called Post Summary so that the readers can choose to continue reading more or proceed with other posts
I also added the drop down menu, which I made myself! That's why it looked so boring and plain because I haven't learn to beautify it yet. LOL. The drop down menu will have links to my Twitter, Facebook, and my SNAP website.
Oh I also added Digg features and this is actually to gain more readers who dug my posts. haha! that's a weird sentence. You can easily register Digg.com using only your Facebook account! It's as simple as that! Start digging!

I tagged along with Neeshan and her boyfriend in the car since we live in the same building. And same block too! She's in 11th floor. haha.
Anyway, Neeshan was driving last night and it was pretty funny It was funny not because of her driving, but because of the person in front of us.

Went to Mid Valley with my mom yesterday and I only get to buy one tiny little thing. Thanks mom for spending all your money before giving it to me. Thanks a lot.

My mom's flight was 7am this morning and she already arrived in KK by now. And she did it again. Leaving her things here. haha.

I was thrown into the pool today! OMG
I didn't wanna swim at first because I hated the chlorine! haha
So Hui Shan and Kah Mun was pulling me to go into the pool. They didn't manage to do it first, but when Nick, Kent and Cruz joined them, how can I resist!
So they pushed me with my shirt still on, into the pool! Damn it. haha
Michelle Lee on the other hand was on the phone at that time so she probably didn't notice. haha.
I think they were swimming for 3 full hours! I only join them after I was forced to so it was probably only half an hour. LOL
Oh during the swim, everybody were grabbed and thrown into the pool! hahaha.

Last night there was no water here in Suriamas because of pipe burst. The whole level 1 was flooded! haha
Anyway after I came back from bromance session with the guys, my housemate told me the water's back on. Yeah right.
Afterwards my older housemate got back from his work around 10pm and asked me if the landlord lowered the rental. I was like wtf? That's random coming from a guy who just walked in from the front door. weird. So I said, yeah probably. hahahahahahah stupid.
He wanted to shower but there's no water. So he deciced to go back to his gym to shower. LOL did I mention he's a gym freak? He's a member of the California Fitness in Sunway. He's almost 35 years old (I think) and still not married.
So he asked if I've already showered because he could bring me to his gym to shower. Uhm...... I'll pass. hahahahaha
He came back an hour later (that's a long shower) and the water suddenly came back on.
I could hear him cursing in Hokkien when he got back. Rough night.

We decided to join the Taylor's Business Plan competition since we already are planning one.
So we added a new member in the production team! And it's Suzuki. hahaha
Actually Suzuki was the original member of the business competition and Nick joined in after but since the production thing was cooked up by me and Nick so I guess that makes Suzuki the latter member.
Anyway, I changed the name of the production from NAF Production to SNAP! which stands for
At least it's catchy. haha
I'm going to register this production with the CCM to start with our business. In case you're wondering, that's Companies Commission of Malaysia.

Stupid landlord
He's so fucking stupid, I wish he was dead.
He should never even existed.
LOL pissed off.
I called him today because there was no water supply in my apartment 3-4 hours ago. So I though maybe he forgot to pay the bill.
He asked me to go check the water meter near the elevator which evidently, is locked. Even if it wasn't locked, the water meter runs for the entire unite on that floor, not for each unit. That puts his stupidity to a whole new level.
And then he called a me few times to ask if my friend were at home. WTF. Then he told me something really stupid (then again, everything he said is stupid).
"Haiyah, your friends ah, always shower in the apartment after swimming right? Next time charge them 1 dollar each everytime they want shower-lah. We cannot let them shower free mah."
I checked the water bill, it's only a fucking RM8.00 a month. Yes, 8 fucking ringgit PER MONTH. Ughh can't wait to move outta this shit hole. haha.
To those wanted to move or searching a place to rent in Suriamas Condo, make sure your landlord is not George or Thomas.

Oh I noticed while Ms T was scolding us, most of the time she would only address it to Semester 2 students, meaning us. Her eyes were glaring each and everyone in Semester 2. I guess we could've expected that.
Anyway..
There's a certain level of frustration seemed to be lingering in the whole group. It's there somehow.
Oh and almost everyone I saw today fell sick..Hahaha just when I was feeling better. lol

I like the way they used a shitty summer job as the main theme because anything can happen within that 3 months. The story revolves around one geeky boy who was forced to get a summer job by his parents because he wanted to study in New York.
Working as a game host in Adventureland, a theme park that is famous for ripping people off, he met this wonderful troubled girl who likes to sleep with older guy in his mom's basement.
The last part where the boy (seriously I forgot his name!) went to New York to apologize to her, they had sex! An unexpected one. haha
Oh and this time, they showed the scene. Kristen is showing a little boobies. LOL (unsightly) hmmm
Anyway, there will be another movie where Kristen will act as a 16 year old stripper and I can't wait to watch that! Hell yeah! hahaha
