Stucked!!!

Last Saturday I was locked outside my bedroom, while I have company staying over!

We went swimming before and was very hungry. So I rushed everything and forgot the keys inside my room when I realized the outside gate was still padlocked.

Bitch.

I didn't even panic and kept laughing the whole time. Hungry, but it was funny.

So both of us had to hammer down the knob, and one of my housemates helped for a while until he had to leave. The other housemate just open his door a little and watch as we make a total fool of ourselves. Stupid.

We managed to hammer down the knob after one and a half hour. Huh. And it was all my friend's idea. hahaha! She said she could easily put back a new knob tomorrow so I believed her.

The next day we bought the knob thing after searching for the cheapest one in Sunway area. It was 12 something. Uhm.

She managed to put back the knob in it's place, but it took her (or us) almost 2 hours because that knob doesn't really fit the size of the hole in the door.

Okaaay, that was a weird sentence.

But anyway, I'm proud of her because she's so skillful! Any guy would be lucky to be with her. And she was one of the models of Nicholas Chin.

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince

Okay still haven't paid my broadband yet.

I think I have outstanding payment since I used up more than the allocated capacity. So go fuck the hidden charges.

After 2 painful weeks, I finally went to watch the 6th installment of Harry Potter.

I'm gonna say this bravely, FUCK ALL THE BAD REVIEWS!

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince was great.

Minus the less than 30 seconds battle scene (if that) and Dumbledore died, it was definitely a great and dare I say better than the other Harry Potter franchise.

I like the direction this time, as it was really poetic.

I just can't wait for the next one. Or will it be two? haha!

Anyway, to everyone who didn't wanna watch because of the bad reviews, they're just a big action buff. and jealous I might add.

Genting

I have no pictures whatsoever for the Genting trip. I wanted to steal from a certain someone, but he watermarked it all.

Genting, again.

Okay this is to all the people who will be going for the Genting trip.

This is what you paid for:

RM42 is inclusive of return bus tickets, return skyway cable car and all park unlimited rides pass (original price for ALL rides are RM51 alone).

RM 37 is for the deluxe room in First World Hotel. And everybody paid equally. Since the girls are sharing 5 person in each room, I think it's fair that they get the buffet breakfast worth RM 25 per person that was built-in to the price of the room.

So total amount is RM79.

Oh there are no changes in the room price because I had to use the phone reservation to book the room and the price is different from the ones through online. Online price is Rm88.80 per room and the phone reservation price is a whopping RM140.00, not including handling fees for EACH room of RM15.00 (which made it RM 60.00 for 4 rooms). And that is also not included the extra charge of 5.5%, again, EACH room because I used MasterCard to purchase the rooms.

And we also have to pay extra RM4.00 for the return bus ticket on Tuesday because the ticket we purchased must only be used the same day.


Okay for those who aren't clear, this will make you say "Wow, Azhar and Nick actually did a great job." hahahahah!

Return SkyWay ticket: RM (I'm not sure LOL)
Unlimited ALL park rides pass: RM 51.00

OMG I tried the KFC's new Cheezy Chickaroni today!!

It was very and I mean VERY good.

And cheap!

MYR 5.90 for one Cheezy Chickaroni and 1 Regular drink.

Ala-carte is like MYR 5.80 wtf?

Anyway, the new dish was so delicous, the amount of cheese was generous! The Romano sauce was perfect with an added chopped basil!

The Macaroni was cooked well, and it was large in portion.

Topped with the mac, there are 4 large chicken meatballs to enjoy!

I was like OMG when I took the first bite.

Go try it!! You will not regret it.

Horrible cutting experience (updated)

at Santa Ines. wtf?

We had our free lunch at the College's own restaurant, mainly called Santa Ines.

The restaurant name is Spanish/Mexican, but the menu?

is in friggin French!

Stupid.

First strike.

Appetizer.

Poached tomato with 2 hard-boiled eggs and salad.

Tomato? Poached too long, it tasted like human skin.

Eggs? The yolk was too salty, it was mixed with unrecognizable substance which made it seem like it's already stale.

Don't even get me started with the salad. It was too fresh as if it was handpicked right from the jungle not 5 minutes ago.

Second strike.

Main course.

Chicken served with potato, carrot and long beans.

The chicken was too dry, I feel like eating a rat. Seriously. And to serve chicken thighs for fine dining? Have they learned anything yet?

The gravy was sublime. It has a perfect amount of orregano and hint of nutmeg. Perfect!

The sides was okay, nothing special there.

Third strike

Dessert.

Pancake with strawberry bits and whipped cream, topped with some sweet sauce.

It was spectacular. Every bite is like a piece of heaven. haha. The sourness of the strawberry ruined the flavor though.

not much complain here. LOL

The only good thing about the lunch was the centrepiece of the table.

We played with the dry ice! hahahahaha

I hope they could improve the foods. It wasn't good enough to be worth paid for.

Genting update

Since the standard room is too ugly, so we'll go for the Deluxe room.

We have at least 18 people going, But since Suzuki and Michelle still hasn't confirm with me, it's 16 so far.

The Deluxe room cost MYR 119 each, we'll take 4 rooms, and 4-5 people each in one room. So that it'll be comfortable.

The shared price would be MYR 24-25 per person for the rooms.

Add that with the bus ticket, each person should cough up MYR 70 (just to be safe).

If anyone doesn't like this deal, you could go to hell. haha

And we need to pay for the rooms like early! I am afraid we're gonna lose the promotion deal. Pay up guys!!

So I've checked around to find out the exact budget we will be needing for the Genting trip.

MYR 42 per person including Bus transfer (return ticket from Genting and KL Sentral or OneU), SkyWay (return ticket) and ALL park unlimited rides pass.

Staying overnight would cost us around MYR39 per room at the First World Hotel. So we could have two rooms for MYR78 and share the price.

This is I think a very good deal. If you want cheaper, I suggest you kill yourself now or don't come. hahahahah

Each person would probably contribute MYR50 or less, depending on how many are going. Pocket money are each person's problems. LOL

So who's in? date from 20th since it's low season.

It's a double meat Ramly Burger wrapped in egg, topped with black pepper sauce, thinly sliced cabbage, fresh tomatoes and pickles!!! Where can you get Ramly Burger with pickles??

With that many ingredients, you would think it would at least cost more than the normal ones right? Probably around MYR 3.50?

Trying new food sure made me miss my mom.

Back in KK she never said no to what I said when it comes to food. Because she knows I'm the expert. haha

She's the one who sent me to cooking school and baking school, and she's my biggest fan in cooking!

I'm not gonna brag so much on how good my cooking is, but at the age of 16, I was already accepted in the La Roche school of culinary arts in Switzerland. I didn't accept it since I was still in high school.

Anyway..

I miss trying out new foods and new places to eat with my mom!!

Because she has credit cards. LOL

I went to Popeyes the chicken and biscuits restaurant today!

OMG the chickens are so tender, the white meat melts in my mouth! The chickens are coated with the perfect crumb, not too spicy, and not too thick.

The mashed potato was superb. It has chopped mushroom in the gravy and the potato was mashed beautifully with lumps! Just the way I like it.

The coleslaw was okay but if compared to the ones at KFC, Popeyes coleslaw kicked KFC's coleslaw ass. Not that they have one. LOL

The biscuit served with the meal was fabolous! As I took a bite from the biscuit, steam came out it to indicate that it's still fresh and most importantly, moist.

I'd give up being healthy just to eat at Popeyes everyday. But don't worry, I won't. haha

Eat at Popeyes to try it yourself. But not just because of my review, because it's friggin cheap too!!!

No tax of any kind!!! So it's cheaper than KFC!!!!

Popeyes is a franchise from New Orleans by the way.

I did the stupidest thing today.

I wrote all my answers down in front of the yellow sheet.

OMG I'm like a little kid! How could anyone do a mistake like that??? I think I broke the Taylor's record for being the only student who doesn't know where to put his answers.

At least if I get low marks, I have an excuse to feel better about myself. That it wasn't because of the answers but rather the mislocation of the answers. LOL this gives a new level of every cloud has a silver lining.

Okay I've already registered my subjects for next semester online.

These are my new subjects:

Since I've already taken Islamic Studies in my previous college, so I'll just be taking 4 subjects next semester.

But I think I wanna try and see if I could be exempted from the English class. I've taken English subjects in my previous college as well and as I recall it, ECS is not a pre-requisite.

Gonna try and persuade the program office to take me out of it.

But English class is fun! Now why the hell would I wanna take it out from my course?

Because the other three subjects seem extremely hard!! That's why!!

UCSI free health check

I went to Pyramid to enjoy the voucher we won from last night, and it turned out they're not participating in that voucher thing. Stupid. They're in the same company but somehow different? whatever.

After eating, we went to the UCSI free health check since I really need to get my blood pressure checked, again.

It turned out they checked the whole thing. So here's what I did

Blood Pressure: 156/88 (a week ago: 162/110)

Weight: 98kg (5 months ago: 110kg)

BMI: Obese Level 1. haha!

They also measured my hips, which I think is not accurate because they measured in the wrong place! Stupid med students! haha!

Total fat: 15 (average would be 1 to 9)



OMG. Time to ditch Coke, McD and Pizza.

Masquerade Party

It was definitely a prom, but I just like to say it’s a masquerade party because it sounded a little sophisticated. haha

Before the party even begin, there’s whole mess of crap occurred. Me having a a fight with Suzuki, no date, no car, and no friends who would want to go.

I could safely say that it went okay. I’m fine with Suzuki now (I think), I had a date, I had a car, and I had friends whom I actually know!!

Kent and Nigel was there. I was surprised to when I saw Kent because I’ve been begging him to come and he said no!! haha! Damn you Kent! And Nigel won best dress for male!! He won a watch and a hamper.

If you can’t find Nigel in the picture, it’s because I took a shot of his crotch. haha! But you could still see his white vest with black shirt. Kinda cool.

Suzuki’s mask, was, uhm, catastrophe. haha

There was a dance off between them at the first floor and Suzuki, your dance moves are getting old. haha!

The belly dancing was great (haha) and the Taylor’s Dance Club dancers were…sigh..Not really good. I think.

The food was great though. And thanks to Sarah for the invite. It was really cool and I think we all had fun. Worth the money.

The best part? Me and my date had to walk from the mansion to KLCC just to get a cab. My uncle canceled last minute so fuck him. It cost us 40 friggin bucks. stupid.

I forgot something. haha! My date and I entered the ice-breaking game, which is also a couples game. And we won!!! We get MYR50 worth of voucher for Ipoh Old Town. At least we won something. lol
